Display by Category

Hi,

Is it possible to, instead of entering each/one-by-one file shortcode on my file listing page, to insert a shortcode with a category ID, so that in that section it shows all the items/files associated to that category?

Working wiht brands, and images/catalogues, so it would be of great use to do so! So I could have a title with the brand name and below the category shortcode listing everything related with that brand.
