ACF & My Calendar

  • Hi,

    i would like to create custom fields (with the plugin advanced custom fields, acf) and insert it to my events of my calendar plugin.

    Is this possible? if yes, how can i do this?

    and maybe this could be a good target for future updates to automatically possible?! don’t know, how complicated this is… but it would be great ??

    It’s technically already possible, although might be a bit messy. If you enable My Calendar event permalinks, then you’ll have an option to edit the event post for each event in My Calendar. This takes you to edit the post record that holds custom field data for the event. You could set up ACF to provide fields within that area. You’d have to come up with your own method for displaying that data, however.

    It’s really a pitty, but that’s too heavy for me.
    I’m a designer and not a programmer…

    Wouldn’t that be a real great target for the future to make these both plugins work together more simple?

    Thank you for your instructions any way. I’m just learning php and maybe some day i will be able to do this… ??
