Comment count showing zero when reviews are there

Hi there,

I tested with WooCommerce’s latest version on my site but couldn’t replicate this. Could you try clearing any site and server caching and load the page again?

Yes, I did try that already. I will go through all the plugins again and try reverting to a standard theme and see what I can find. Will let you know if I solve it.

Here’s an update on the issue:
I don’t see any problems with the theme or plugins but I have refined the issue a little. Turns out that if I enter a review from the front end, it registers correctly but if I add a review/comment through admin (as I did before for external reviews), this is when the count doesn’t register, even when the review can be seen in the tab.

So even though the problem still exists since the new update last week, I, at least, do have a work around by adding a review from the front end and then adding any links I need in admin by editing.

Hopefully the problem may rectify itself in future updates.

Having same issue since last update. I had around 200 reviews on my product. when one of customer put new review suddenly review count showing 0. But reviews show under reviews tab properly. Issue with count. even on product loop it shows review 0.

Funnily enough, my issue is sort an inverted version of yours @rokeyfx. There is no problem when leaving a review on the front end, it’s when I leave a review from admin that the count goes to zero.

Everything else pans out the same though.

I can replicate the issue described in https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/27688, however, the review count just didn’t update when I added a review from the admin dashboard, but it didn’t reset to 0.

Can you add a comment to that report describing how it reset to 0 for you, so our developers can do testing and look into it.

nice to know I am in the same boat and hope someone can come up with maybe an sql query to run in phpmyadmin to recalulate the review count.
I find it so annoying when a customer visits my site product page for example
https://www.pipeworkpieces.com/product/floating-dog-bowl-feeder-farmhouse-style-feeder-raised-dog-bowl-feeder-new-lower-prices/
and first thing they see is (0 customer reviews) but if you actualy click on it opens up the review tab which says 0 and customers can see over 20 reviews.

Really hoping a fix can be figured out as I have spent 2 days already searching google for a fix.
