    Hi,

I am doing a listing website, my speed is going very fast front end & backend, however in the backend, where I have all my listings (+4000 listings, even if my pagination is on 20 listing) its loading very slow due to yoast (only on this specific page)

“PHP errors were triggered during an Ajax request. See your browser developer console for details.”
    90.7% of 524,288 kB limit

if I deactivate Yoast no issue
is there a way to avoid yoast on this listing page in backend, as its not important to load here

I believe, its the same issue with a woocommerce with more than 5000 products

@william-greg We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing a performance issue on your site when the plugin is active.

As for disabling Yoast SEO on your site within the listings area, can you please let us know whether you are using a specific plugin or theme for the listings feature?

Also, can you please also confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO version 14.9 and WordPress version 5.5.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

You can check the WordPress version by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO, WordPress, and your site’s other plugins/themes are up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin.

@william-greg Thanks for your reply. If the listing is a defined as it’s own content type, you can set the Yoast metabox to not show SEO settings under SEO>Search Appearance by setting the value for ‘Show SEO settings’ to ‘Hide’.

As for the image you provided, unfortunately we aren’t able to view it. When we attempted to we received a ‘You need access’ message. Can you please grant access or upload it to an image sharing site such as https://pasteboard.co/ or something similar?

I tried already to not show the Yoast metabox https://prnt.sc/ugsrdh & https://prnt.sc/ugst5p but its didn’t help
only when yoast is deactivated it loads in backend

Looks like it s trying to load many queries like all media id, post…

I have to reload the page 10 times to finally get a non blank page, and when checking the queries I have a very long list like here https://prnt.sc/ugsudp

    Hi,
I tried as well with the version 14.7 to verify, My backend listings load in this case, but looks like the complete loading is very slow (like never finishing) due to the fact yoast is trying to get all info from other pagination. (my pagination is on 20, but even with 10 its difficult to get)

here new screenshot to help you https://prnt.sc/uiakef & https://prnt.sc/uial24

as you see Yoast is trying to load +25000 rows
looks like the problem is with
    o_action(‘manage_posts_extra_tablenav’)
    &
    WP_List_Table->display()

    Hope can help

    Hi @william-greg,

Thank you for investigating this more.

We are aware of an issue where the pagination query might not be limited to the screen options limit in some specific cases. Our development team is currently investigating this. Thank you for giving us these details as well, we’ve included a link to this topic in our internal bug reporting.
