    Another user posted this question but the answer didn’t go far enough to help him (or me) understand the significance of the “Views” settings in GD BBPress Tools.

    How do I actually implement a page that shows “Latest posts” for example? My users would really like this but I don’t see the link between enabling a view and actually being able to use it.

    Can you provide an example?

    Topic Views are a core part of bbPress, they are not added by my plugin, and you already have few views in bbPress (check out the bbPress Topics Views widget, and see how the views work). My plugin registers additional views only, it doesn’t implement the system for topic views.

    OK I finally found how to use the views. By accident I clicked on the “Forums” menu item in the WP dashboard and there were the views!

    I don’t understand what you mean by “the bbPress Topics Views widget” above, but anyway, I found a solution.
