Work with private/commerical themes outside www.remarpro.com?

Hi there,

Great plugin! Hopefully core WP integrates it someday soon.

We’re interested to know if this can be made to work with themes that aren’t hosted on www.remarpro.com? Perhaps integrated with something like this Plugin Update Checker (PUC):

(which also facilitates self-hosting themes for private clients)
