[Plug in: si-captcha-for-wordpress] Error in Dashboard

  • I just uploaded the plug in to my plug in folder and activate it,

    Upon pressing the setting link, i was directed to the “SI Captcha Options” page, and the following shown after the paypal donate image:

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function admin_url() in /home/mmo/public_html/ynot/blog/wp-content/plugins/si-captcha-for-wordpress/si-captcha.php on line 252”

    line 252 is:
    ” echo admin_url( ‘plugins.php?page=si-captcha-for-wordpress/si-captcha.php’ );”

    I am using Nice Day by M.Kranthi Swaroop

    Is is compatable with wordpress 2.9??

    I have this error in the comment page at the bottom of my blog comment form also

    ERROR: si-captcha.php plugin says captcha_library not found.

    Yes the plugin supports 2.7 – 2.9.1

    Your wordpress installation must be the cause. admin_url is part of WP since version 2.6.0

    Maybe you have a theme or plugin conflict. Test with default theme. Test with all other plugins deactivated.

    If still not fixed, try reinstalling your wordpress.

    i could have wordpress installation problem as i just change server and manually update all the files..

    Anyway to fix this manually, say any specific php files that contain this function or admin url to be configured??

    Is their anyway for me to locate which php file this function should be in so that i can fix it on that particular files?? i do not wish to reinstall my wordpress before i try that.
