Changing category page but being able to show all posts from that category

Hi,

not sure if this is possible or not. I have a ‘News’ category and under that 6 relevant categories. i’ve made a ‘News’ specific category page that displays the top 2 posts from the 6 categories on it.

This is all working and fine, however, i can’t figure out how to allow the users to view ALL NEWS stories (so all posts from across the 6 cateogies under News).

I thought of using the archive page but can’t get the link to work correctly as the category name or ID for ‘News’ is obviously going to the page that shows the top 2 posts.

Is there a way to do this?

ps can’t give the URL as it’s not live it’s on my local machine using XAMPP
