In the frequently asked questions on the Plugin page:
Q: Customers are being sent directly to checkout when choosing to purchase a product. How can I send them to the product page instead?

The solution is shown as a toggle under the ‘Shop’ tab in the Facebook settings. I don’t have a Shop tab in my Facebook settings so I am unable to send users to the product page.

Is there another way to access the ‘Use Checkout Urls’ option to de-select it?

    Many thanks,
    Elisabeth

  • Hi @eyaneske,

Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’ll be happy to help.

There should be another way to access this option. Our plugin syncs both the “add to cart” link and the product link, so it’s up to Facebook to decide which one to use. However, you should be able to select this in the Facebook settings for your page.

In the new layout that you’re seeing, there should be a left sidebar with a “Settings” link toward the bottom:

    https://cln.sh/xiQlue

Clicking on this should reveal the settings area and switch the sidebar to include a “Shop” option:

    https://cln.sh/sH72E9

Clicking here will show the “Shop” settings, which contains only the toggle for showing cart URLs:

Would you please give that a try and let me know if that works for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

This was resolved by adding the code from github as mentioned in answer to another forum post.
