• I accidentally refreshed my page in the middle of a site update and things have been wacky ever since. I did a manual install of the latest version of wordpress to get the site back (critical error was showing and couldn’t access admin panel). Got the site back and everything was ok, except that wp keeps wanting me to log in and gives an error message “Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.” Cookies ARE enabled, I made no changes to cookies. Even made an exception for my site in chrome to make sure there is no issues with cookies getting blocked. No change, the nagging error persists.

Today I tried updating a page, and after I hit the update button, it just says “updating” forever and nothing happens. Every time I search for this issue (wordpress page won’t update, etc) all I get is people who are having cache issues. My issue is different in that the page never actually updates at all, it looks like it’s updating but never confirms the changes made to the page.

I’ve tried disabling all my plugins and reinstalling wp again, from the admin panel. I’ve cleared my cache in chrome and in my cpanel, I’ve flushed “LSCache”. Issues persist… the error with cookies needing to be enabled and the page update process never completing. What can I do to fix these issues?
