• Roland,

I am trying to add some new fields in a new Group. The fields are showing in “Manage Database Fields” page, however the order cannot be changed – in particular I want to move the new group to the top, but every time I try and save it reverts back to the bottom, plus none of the new fields are showing in the records.

Do you have any idea what might be going wrong

Using latest version and WordPress 5.5.1

    Malcolm

If you can drag the group to a new position, but it doesn’t stay in that position when you rerfresh the page, there is an error happening in the backend. You’ll need to take a look at your php error log to see what the issue is.

As the the visibility of the new fields, make sure the field group has its visibility configured to show the fields in the context you’re looking at them in.

There doesn’t appear to be anything in the error logs that is associated with this problem.

I have added 4 new fields into an existing group, managed to move them to the top of the list, however on the admin edit page, only the first field is showing.

In addition, the fields are not showing on the manage list columns page.

Looking at database in phpmyadmin shows all the new fields although I am reluctant to change anything there just in case.

When you say you see the fields in the database, which table do you see them in? Should be the “wp_participants_database_fields” table.

“Admin Edit Page” not sure what page you’re talking about here…the “Edit Participant” page?

If the fields are not showing up as you say, I’m not sure what the problme is.

You can delete them from the fields table and start over, that might help.
