Translations not effective

    Hello,

    I have installed Loco Translate plugin to translate my website. Even though the German language appears to be fully translated (formal and not) in WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin, all labels (like Product, Price, Total, Subtotal, Shipping, Discount etc) in the generated invoice are in English.

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Is your backend in English or in German? Which German do you use on your site, formal or regular?

    It was in English.

    I switched my profile language to German and now it is working fine, but it appears strange to me: the invoice should have the same language of the website, not of the users that work in backoffice.

    Glad to hear that resolved the issue! We follow the same conventions as WooCommerce for this:
    When a PDF is generated on the frontend of the site (via My Account by your customer), it is in the language of the site. When it is sent to your customer via email, it is in the language of the site too. And when you open the PDF in the backend, it is in the language of the backend. This means that the PDF that your customer receives is always in the site language.

    For multilingual setups we provide support for WPML & Polylang in our Professional extension.

    I have similar issue. this webiste https://tamizhifoods.com/ has a title in English and followed by Tamil language. The output pdf generated displayed like Nutmeg / 0000 in the place of Tamil and with English it is absolutely fine. Please suggest me to how to fix this.
