I have set up Polylang with Divi.

But some of the strings are not translating:

    1) Read More
    2) Submit a Comment
    3) Submit Comment (the button text)
    4) “Share This” in a social media share plugin

    I have tried:
    – Following Divi Instructions, but it doesn’t seem to include the languages on our site: English/Canada and French/Canada.
    – Loco Translate, but it doesn’t work
    – Hired a coder to write a function but it didn’t work
    – Real Time Find and Replace plugin, but it doesn’t work.
    – Lots of other plugins, but they don’t work.

How do I go about translating these strings? I’ve tried everything possible before writing this.

  • First of all, if you hired a WordPress developer and he/she can not help you, you should claim back your money.
To solve this problem you need to know where the strings come from and how they are added to your website. Based on this result you (or somebody else) can fix this.
The way how a text is displayed can be different. So, the solution is also different.
