• There seem to be a couple conflicts when using your Plugin at the same time as the Contact Form 7 Plugin. Filebrowser when adding existing downloads isn’t working and adding downloads in the write post panel isn’t working as well.

    Also I’m having an issue if I want to define a “permalink” for the downloads. The htaccess file has the additional information added but it breaks my site (501 error).

  • @aquadonis,

    I run WP 2.9.1 and have both WP Download Monitor and Contact Form 7 activated on my blog and do not experience any of the issues you mention.

    Well that’s weird. For example here’s the error message I get when trying to use the file browser for adding existing ones.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpcf7_add_tag_generator() in /home/www/web200/html/aquadonis/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/text.php on line 129

    @aquadonis,

    I’m assuming when you say:

    when trying to use the file browser for adding existing ones

    …that you are referring to file browser for WP Download Monitor.
    I’m wandering whether you have deactivated all plugins except WP Download monitor and still get the error?

    @rschil – yes, right assumption.

    And no I didn’t have time to do deactivating and testing Plugins. I will try to do some of it this weekend to figure out which one could be a problem.

    But on all other issues I had with the Plugin so far, the error message stays the same as the one I posted earlier. Guess I will try deactivating CF7 first. Will let you know what I find out.

    @rschil – the issues was CF7 but here’s a fix and it worked perfectly for me!

    But the custom download (perma)link problem remains the same. But I guess I should do a search here in the forums first and only then open a new thread.

    I’ll confirm the same, I was getting :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpcf7_add_tag_generator() in /……/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/text.php on line 129

    When i tried to insert a download into the page (actually came across this bug when i was showing a friend how awesome DLM is =) (egg on face LOL). Anyhow,

    Downloaded the update from the following thread:

    Now all good. Thanks for making this topic aquadonis!
