• I used Avalon theme because it was highly recommended by this plugin for 100% compatibility. We have been using both on our site for several years. It appears to be supported by the same people. I recently received a message that my plugins had “expired” and would have to be renewed, even though they were free to use. I logged in and “purchased” new licenses and was able to update the plugins ok. However, it appears that Avalon has updates as well, which I have “purchased” for $0 and I now have a validation code, but there doesn’t appear to be any where to place it. I am currently using Avalon version 1.0.2. The newest version is 1.1.0. Also, since WordPress does not have Avalon in it’s database there haven’t been any theme update notifications to our site. I don’t know how to update a theme using a file from outside of www.remarpro.com. Can I just upload it? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

  • yes, this is confusing…free…open source, but you have to “buy” it on a regular basis.

I’m using Madison theme (for the same reason…).
For me, the last selection under Appearance is Theme License.
This is where it goes in Madison. YMMV.

@cindyotseo Did you find any solution on how to update it? My theme licese key is expired if signup for new one would that mess up my site? Please help anyone!
