I’m helping my client connect their Facebook page to their site. They have made me a full admin on their page. When I go to connect, I get the error:

“You don’t have permission to edit these settings. Reach out to the admin of “[client] Business Manager to gain access.”

What permissions am I suppose to have? The client is not Facebook savvy and I can’t go to them and ask for more permissions when they have given me full admin rights.

    Hey @graphicgoo, @bettyliciousuk, and @dadesignsa,

Thanks so much for writing in with your question. Since the latest version of the plugin we’ve started to use the latest Facebook API which uses Business Manager to connect your WooCommerce store to your Facebook account.

In this case, having admin access to the page isn’t quite enough permission, as required by Business Manager. In each of your cases, are you also added as an admin to business manager and related assets?

This should be possible by having them add you into their business manager account via https://business.facebook.com/settings/people/ and assigning you all assets to manage. This should then allow you to run through the new connection process which will create a system user the plugin uses to manage the same assets too.

Have your customers done this already or were they only adding you to the page?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hey folks!

It has been a while since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. Facebook has also updated us late last week that they released some additional fixes for the connection process, one fix related to permissions, which I hope has done the trick for you!

If you’re still experiencing issues, however, please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

Hey @simonskyverge, I have added myself as an admin to business manager and all assets related but it don’t work. I have experienced a similar case in other plugins. The solution that worked was delete its database table and re-install the plugin. I think this method will work in this case. Please tell me the database table of Facebook for Woocommerce version 2.0.5 and I will try.

Still not work for me. Facebook always say me that i do not have permition but I’m admin in both page and business manager

    Hi there!

We recommend you to open a new thread when you run into issues @maslzr and @darioagostini

    For issues with permissions:

Facebook is particular about connecting to and managing business pages. Some steps to try to resolve this:

    * Navigate to the Facebook Business Settings – Pages area, select the Page in question, go to the People tab, and ensure your name is listed there with the Manage Page toggle enabled.
    * Check if the steps in this article help gain the correct access: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/183277585892925?id=420299598837059
    * If gaining access to the page in Business Manager didn’t solve it, please reach out via the Facebook Merchant Support page for further help with it.

I have added myself as an admin to business manager and all assets related but it don’t work. I have stated it again and again in my previous posts started several months earlier, until now it is not resolved. Now I am asking for the database table of Facebook for Woocommerce version 2.0.5. Is there anybody who can help with this question?

    Hi @maslzr

Per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic?

As we quite often see issues that look similar in nature but have very different underlying causes. A topic per user helps us focus on your specific issue to get to the root cause for you quicker!

Every time I try to configure Facebook for Woocommerce, I have this ‘Admin Permission Required’ error, https://prnt.sc/10b42gc. I am an administrator of the business page, https://prntscr.com/10b490q. Please help.

This forum is useless. This inquiry started several months ago, can’t even remember the exact date, until now it is not resolved. The plugin support look like they don’t understand the product. All they can give are confusions. Very poor product with very very poor support. One thing I asked is the database table of the plugin, nobody can give.

    Hi @tibetanitech
I have repeated the issue many times in the forum. How does starting my own topic help? Is it all you can say instead of helping resolve the issue?

    @maslzr

Since you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic? We’ll be more than happy to help there.

Hi @amandasjackson, I am not sure if I am not really the person who started the topic, but can’t you see that I have started my own topic already? Is it your excuse of not being able to help?

Hi @amandasjackson, if that is all you need, I am starting the topic below.

Every time I try to configure Facebook for Woocommerce, I have this ‘Admin Permission Required’ error, https://prnt.sc/10b42gc. I am an administrator of the business page, https://prntscr.com/10b490q. Please help.
