    Hello,
    I used the couple few days trying to speed up my site, but I have no knowledge in programming and html/php whatsoever.
    I read I should be able to cache and enable gzip compression. The first one I did using 2 plugins (wp-cache and wp-widged cache), but I cannot make plugins devoted to gzip work.
    Would you suggest one or tell me another way to do so?
    My site is here.

    I’m basing myself on tools like https://www.gidnetwork.com/tools/gzip-test.php , YSlow for firefox and similars.
