Hero images no longer load

    I am using WordPress 5.5 and suddenly my hero images won’t load. When I look at the page in WordPress the hero images are there, they just won’t load in any browser.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    P.S. The mobile version does load the hero images, just not the desktop browsers. I don’t have a tablet to test that.

    Updated to 5.5.1 and still no hero images using a laptop browser.

    So, somewhere in the 5.5 and 5.5.1 upgrade WordPress stepped on using code to autoscale hero images. The only solution was to adjust images to the exact size needed and hard code that size.
