Still not compatible with Mailpoet

    As per issue submitted by judem the plugin still does not work with Mail Poet, I have contacted Mail Poet and they have advised..

    “Hi Alex,
    after a closer look, you really have to contact Supsystic, because I’m 99% sure, it’s their issue. On every admin page, there is an error, which is linked to Supsystic Gallery.
    The jQuery mentioned in the error is crucial for MailPoet to work and it seems Supsystic is doing something with it on every admin page.

  • Hi @supsystic,

    we already received a couple of support tickets regarding conflict with your plugin. The issue is, that your plugin, even when not currently in your admin section, is modifying the global window.jQuery object which causes errors.

    Could you please take a look at it and fix the issue?

    I have been using MailPoet for many years without any problems, first in version 2 then version 3.
    Since August 2020 I have been using “Photo Gallery by Supsystic” and Mailpoet can no longer be configured as long as the plugin is active. It would be desirable that there would be compatibility between the plugins, so that I don’t have to deactivate Photo Gallery every time for the configuration of Mailpoet.
    They are both great plugins and I don’t want to do without either!

    Please change it so that everything works again!

    I have no idea what happened, I just updated to WordPress version 5.5.1 and now it works!
    Fine!!!

    I can confirm, that WordPress version 5.5.1 resolved it on all customers’ websites, who wrote us.

    I think this issue can be closed.
