Automatically updated without my permission

    I’m working on a client’s test site and suddenly get this email from the site saying that Autoptimize was automatically updated to version 2.7.7

    Auto Updates are disabled, and it only happened with this plugin (there are others that need updating) so I’m wondering how this happened?

    That was pushed by the www.remarpro.com security/ plugins team, as versions before 2.7.7 had a security vulnerability for which exploits are about to be released Treebeard.
