• Please forgive me as I am brand new to WordPress. I am using the Mission News theme and the site title and tagline in the header are not displaying correctly for pad devices and disappearing entirely for phone devices. What am I missing?

    Thanks for using Mission News!

I haven’t seen this issue with the theme before, so I think it may be related to a plugin. Please try deactivating the plugins on your site and check if this helps. If it does correct the issue, you can reactivate them one-by-one until the issue returns to know which one is at fault.

Thank you for your reply. I deleted the plugin, but I’m seeing the same problem only without the font I wanted to use.

You’ll need to try deactivating all plugins on the site. I’m seeing a lot of visual differences between how Mission News normally looks and the way the site is now, so there must be an error coming from a plugin on the site. I think it could be the Boldgrid plugin which is overriding parts of the normal design.

It turns out that it was the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll plugin causing the problem. I suppose I’ll just have to do without a sticky header until I learn a bit more about making my own theme.

    Thanks for your help!

Glad to hear it’s fixed now ??

Feel free to post here if anything else comes up.
