fatal error on my website

Hi,

There are mainly three ways to install plugins.

1. Search via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New
2. Manually upload the plugin zip file via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin
3. Drop-in via FTP, cPanel File Manager, or some other methods to copy the files in the wp-content/plugins directory.

Which method did you try to install the plugin?

I tried the first method you mention, that one gave me the fatal error “1. Search via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New”
The solution was the third “3. Drop-in via FTP, cPanel File Manager, or some other methods to copy the files in the wp-content/plugins directory.”

No es inmediato al activar el plugin pero al pasar el tiempo salta ese error. Uso el navegador de chrome

Sounds like something is deleting or locking the plugin file.

Can you test this?

1. Uninstall Amazon Auto Links.
2. Temporarily disable other plugins and switching back to the default theme.
3. Install Amazon Auto Links.

Let me know if the problem occurs by doing this.

Sigue sin funcionar, elimine por completo todos los plugins incluso volví al tema predeterminado. Probé en un sitio web nuevo y sigue sucediendo el mismo error

Not sure what’s going on on your site.

Please enable the site debug mode by editing the wp-content/wp-config.php file.

And find lines with WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG.

Find these lines and change them

to

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

If you don’t find these lines, you can just add them.

While enabling the debug mode, try reinstalling Amazon Auto Links and post errors logged in wp-content/debug.log.

After that you can safely revert the change made in wp-config.php.

Can you try this?

1. Uninstall Amazon Auto Links.
2. Upload amazon-auto-links.zip via the cPanel file manager to the wp-content directory.
3. Open the file, amazon-auto-links/amazon-auto-links.php.
4. Find the comment block at the top of the file.

Here we change the version and added the return statement so that the plugin files won’t load. This prevents the file missing error.

5. Now update the plugin via Dashboard -> Updates -> Plugins.

The automatic update should resume the missing file.

The error looks the same as the previous one, saying a file is missing.

Try checking files manually.

1. Upload the plugin zip file amazon-auto-links.zip via cPanel File Manager to the wp-content/plugins directory.
2. Navigate to wp-content/plugins/amazon-auto-links/include/library/apf/factory/_common/_abstract/_model/ and tell me if the AdminPageFramework_Message.php file exists.

Next,

1. Extract the plugin zip file amazon-auto-links.zip in your computer.
2. In the extracted directory, navigate to amazon-auto-links/include/library/apf/factory/_common/_abstract/_model/ and tell me if the AdminPageFramework_Message.php file exists.

The both files must exist.
