when I look at the plug in setting, it has a big green “connected.”

the error I’m getting (and others are getting) is Merge Field invalid.

You can still be connected via the API and have the IP address blocked by Mailchip at the same time.

One way to test is to try connecting another site on a different IP address to the account and see if the forms work. If they both get the same error, then something may be up with the account.

have checked with host. they say IP is fine.

I became aware of the problem because someone else alerted me they were getting the message, so it is not just me.

When you say “the account” which account do you mean? My account with the hosting company?

can you point me to how to check to see if the IP is blocked by mailchimp, please? I cant find it in their documentation.

Hey @estherderby,

You need to turn off the nonce security check because something isnt jiving with your SSL certificate which is causing the submission problems.

If the problem persists still please disable the Ajax submission settings as well and test your form.
