I’m using AIO SEO for several years now (thank you!).
Today I enabled the XML-Sitemap feature fpr the first time. I think it’s working, however there is a weired message on top of the setting page for XML Sitemap, which looks like this:
    <form action="" method="post"><p>M?glicher Konflikt mit der unbekannten Datei /www/url.../wordpress/sitemap-old.xml.</p> <input type='hidden' name='aioseop_sitemap_conflict[]' value='sitemap-old.xml'> <input type='hidden' name='nonce-aioseop' value='b749c10a7c'> <input type='submit' name='aioseop_sitemap_delete_files' class='aioseop_delete_files_button button-primary' value='Im Konflikt stehende Dateien l?schen' aria-label='Im Konflikt stehende Dateien l?schen'><input type='submit' name='aioseop_sitemap_rename_files' class='aioseop_rename_files_button button-secondary' value='Im Konflikt stehende Dateien umbenennen' aria-label='Im Konflikt stehende Dateien umbenennen'> </form>

What does that mean and how can I get rid of this?

@tooni You can click the Delete conflicting files button and the notice will then go away.

Thank you for answering. However as you can see, the message is not correctly formatted and so there is no button to click. There is nothing else than the above shown message.

Something is breaking that message. That’s not caused by All in One SEO, it could be caused by another plugin or your theme.

You can also delete that file by logging into your server using FTP and then navigating to the directory where WordPress is installed and you should see that file.

Although I couldn’t believe that a theme or another plugin should have an impact on the backend of WP and the setting page of AIO SEO, I have tried to disable all plugins and activated the standard twenty-twenty theme.
Result is still the same. ??

@tooni as Steve said, try deleting that file by logging into your server using FTP.
