No Product Types in Product Data dropdown

    I would like to use the product type Variable, to be able to add sizes for my products. However, there is no drop-down showing on my product page (ie, simple, variable, etc.)

    Is this an add-on? Or is it a theme issue?

    Hi there,

    There was a jQuery Migrate library removed from core WordPress in version 5.5, which caused an issue like that. The latest version of WooCommerce includes an update to handle that removal, however it’s still possible this issue could be coming from another active plugin that was using that library.

    As a first step, please make sure your theme, WordPress, WooCommerce, and all other plugins are updated to their latest versions, then clear the cache on your site/server as well as your browser cache. After that, check to see if the issue is resolved.

    If you are still seeing the issue, please try installing this “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin, which should bring back that library — you can leave it installed until all of your other plugins/themes have new releases to be compatible with the removal of that library from core WordPress:
