Contextual Related Posts links not showing up as outgoing internal links?

I don’t understand by what do you mean by “outgoing internal links”? Where are you looking at this?

One option is to check if in the settings page you have the option for “no follow” turned off. It’s in Output tab.

When I’m in the dashboard and click on posts, outgoing internal links is a column at the top of the screen. Other columns are seo score, readability score, comments, tags, author, and title.

No follow is not on

If I am not mistaken, those are generated by Yoast SEO and they count the links in your post content and not those added by the plugin.

I’ll find out about mySQL version.

Fixed my issue with no related posts showing up.
– Under List Tuning tab: checked “Related posts based on title and content” and now they appear!

@ajay that’s correct that that number is created by Yoast. I’m wondering if google counts the links created by the plugin so that the interlinking between posts is good for SEO.

Check that nofollow in the settings page is turned off. In theory, I don’t see why it shouldn’t count those links as that’s the basis of using the related posts plugin – generate internal links. But, I am no expert on Google
