WPML Multi Currency

    Hi,

    It’s a great plugin and I have been very satisfied with it so far. Recently, I just added WPML to support multiple currencies and languages. However, the payment gateway support does not show up.

    In the support ticket with WPML, they seem to indicate that they only support the stripe plugin by WooCommerce. Is that true?

    If there is no native support for WPML multi-currency, can you point me to the necessary hooks if it is possible to bridge the gap?

    Hi @kooyaya,

    Thank you for contacting us. When coding this plugin, I specifically tested with WPML to ensure it was compatible. The Stripe plugin also contains the wpml-config.xml file that’s required to translate admin texts.

    It’s possible that WPML recently changed their code base to require gateways to register their support. I will review their docs and see if that’s the case.

    Update: I joined the conversation in that thread that you linked as I have a WPML account. Let’s see what they respond with and if any additions are required on my end I will make sure they’re added to the Stripe plugin.

    Based on what WPML is saying, I just need to go through their approval process. The plugin is already compatible with their solution.

    The issue you have been experiencing is related to the WPML plugin based on their feedback. I’ll go ahead and close this thread and keep a watch on your support ticket with WPML.
