    Hi,

    I haven’t been able to connect since the “new/better” experience was launched.

    What’s working:
    – I can select the right Business Manager Account
    – I can see the right Facebook Pixel

    What’s NOT Working
    – I can’t select the correct Instagram profile (it isn’t even shown)
    – When I try to deselect to connect into the instagram profile (because it is the wrong account) it does nothing
    – I can’t select the correct Facebook Page (it is showing as Not Eligible)

    Seems like it is pretty wide spread, would be nice to get a resolution.

    Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I’m really sorry to hear that our plugin isn’t working as expected on your end.

    I’m going to need a bit more information in order to better understand this case. Have you been able to complete the setup process after updating to the latest version? Also, a screenshot of the error message you’ve encountered when trying to change to the correct page would be very helpful if you can provide me with one.

    Hi Pit,

    Yep, was all connected and working before the last couple of updates. What’s really annoying as well is that the plugin has the error message at the top of every admin page and there is no way I can link it again at the moment despite it telling me to.

    1. Followed the instructions and get asked to confirm settings but the Instagram Profile and Facebook page are incorrect.

    2. Try to select correct Instagram profile, doesn’t show despite being connected. Also can’t turn off the blue button to not connect which seems a bit silly?

    3. Try to select correct Facebook page and the page I need to connect says Not eligible

    Has been the same through the last couple of upgrades with the same problem. Seem very consistent with the issues others are having.

    Thank you very much for taking the time prepare these screenshots for me. They’re very helpful to better understand this case.

    I’ll need to reach out to my colleagues to ask more information regarding how an Instagram account is chosen and if there’s a way to affect that choice during the setup process.

    In the meantime, if you’d like to proceed with using our plugin, you can download and install a previous version through the sticky post here. However, you may need to update again as soon as we have more information regarding any of the above. I’ll make sure to reach out to you as soon as further feedback is available in case you’d like to make the decision later.

    Thanks for the update. I have just followed your advice and moved back to the old plugin and everything is working fine.

    Just so you guys can see, everything is setup correctly on the old plugin.

    Thanks so much for letting me know and I’m sorry that you had to roll back in the previous version due to this issue. ??

    We’re working closely with the Facebook team in the meantime as we coordinate to improve and resolve any of these issues you’ve encountered. We’ll make sure to issue an update as soon as we have more information. I’m keeping this thread open for the time being, however, it’s possible that we’ll go ahead and mark it as “resolved” within 10 days if there are no new updates.

    I’ll make sure to ping you when it’s that time in case you’d like to proceed with updating and giving this one more go. Until then, don’t hesitate to reply to this thread if there’s anything else you’d like to add.

    I hope you’re doing great. It has been 10 days since we last discussed this case, so I’ll go ahead and mark it as resolved.

    I’d like to also ask you to try updating to version 2.0.1 of our plugin whenever possible as you may be able to proceed with the setup process. If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.
