Yes. Relevanssi works under the hood, there’s nothing user-visible about it. All visible parts of the search experience are defined in your theme, so as long as that works, it’ll be fine.

    Is it multisite compatible?

Yes. The free version of Relevanssi works in multisite, as long as you install it as a network plugin so that the database setup goes right.

With Relevanssi Premium, you can also do searches that include results from more than one subsite.

What is difference between FREE and Premium?
    Will, it optimized also?
    Thanks

In this sense, there’s no difference. Both work the same way (and mostly run the same code).

You can find the feature comparison here.

Will it work on custom Post type also? We have custom post type enabled in our site.
But during indexing, will it indexing custom post type also?

    (@msaari)

Yes, Relevanssi can index any post types, custom or regular.

    Hi,
As we are running multisite. In one of our multisite we have nearbout 26k Post but after running sometimes it is telling Counting posts… 12325 posts found.
Time elapsed: 0:11:09 | Time remaining: some time
    What is the issue here?
    Thanks

Well, that’s how many posts Relevanssi has discovered. Are you indexing all post types? Are all posts public and not excluded from search? There can be plenty of reasons why Relevanssi doesn’t see those posts. What kind of site is this?

5736604 is the lowest post ID indexed.
    >>Are you indexing all post types?
    Yes

    Yes

    with multiple custom post type.
    What is the issue here?
    Thanks

    (@zotezo)

After changing some settings now it is working.
    Indexing complete. 0 posts excluded.
Time elapsed: 0:38:59 | Time remaining: we’re done!
Issue was in Custom fields, after making it Visible then it is working..
We are uploading medicine product throgh ACF plugins now in this page how can i ensure that when we want to search in this page it will search and show medicine products only(through shortcodes) in this page
    https://dev1.zotezo.com/in/medicines/gp-1mg-tablet/
    and https://dev1.zotezo.com/in/medicines/
    how to achieve that?
    thanks

    (@msaari)

How can a program recognise what is a medicine and what is not, exactly? Is it certain value in a custom field or what exactly? It’s possible to add a filter for the search, but I need to know how exactly the wanted posts can be separated from the unwanted posts before I can tell you how.

    (@zotezo)

Further, as we are running multisite when I search for any keywords in main site dev1.zotezo.com it is not searching the products listed on dev.zotezo.com/in site?
How to search function to work globally?
    Thanks

    (@msaari)

Like I said before, searching for posts from another subsite is a Premium feature and only available in Relevanssi Premium.
