    Hello.
I have just bought WordPress File Upload to be able to upload images from the front end into NEXT GEN galleries, but i am a little stuck with how to link the two.
For example I want to have a weekly photo theme.
    Week 34: Portraits
And the user can then upload their images into the “Week 34: Portraits” gallery.

Q: Do I need to manually create that gallery?
I tried to create a gallery using “ADD GALLERY / IMAGES”, but it wants me to add images as well.

Q: If I can create that subfolder “Week 34: Portraits”, how do I automatically import the images added to that gallery so they are displayed in the front end?

    That’s it for now.

    Thank you.

  • Hello @quintinm,

Linking those two plugins is out of our support scope.
But we are happy to provide you some information on how our galleries are stored.
On Gallery > Other Options, you will find the path that NextGEN Gallery uses to store each gallery. By default is /wp-content/gallery

You don’t need to add photographs if you want to create an empty folder.
Just go to Gallery > Manage Gallery > Add new gallery

Perhaps you would like to check our available import methods as well: https://www.imagely.com/docs/adding-images-uploadingzip-filesimage-folders/

Because it has been a month or more since your last reply, I am going to mark this as resolved as I assume you have found a solution. Please feel free to reply again if you still have questions.

    Thanks!
