changing languages

I’m currently working on a site where the default language is Gaeilge(Irish).

I’ve created a new ga.js file and uploaded it to the relevant folder in my child theme ….didn’t work..calendar still showing in English

I then tried uploading it to the includes/js/lang folder in the plugin folder…again, no joy.

I then tried translating the page to Spanish to see if the problem was with my own js file…it still displays the Calendar in English.

Any idea where I’m going wrong???
