• I changed the server from Apache to Nginx. If I try to download a product file managed by woocommerce I get a 403 error. The files are placed in a directory generated by the Symbiostock plugin with 755 permission. The files have 600 permissions and therefore cannot be downloaded. Do you have any idea how to solve the problem? Thank you very much.

@mpgwordpress I would suggest first ruling out the “Symbiostock” plugin, as well as others.

With all plugins, except for WooCommerce, disabled. Please try creating a new downloadable product. Upload a new file to the product and then try purchasing it to see if you can download the product. If you can, then you can slowly reactivate your other plugins until the problem returns. Once you found which plugin is causing this error, you’ll want to reach out to it’s developer and let them know.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have always used the Symbiostock Plugin along with Woocommerce on the Apache server and have not had the problem.

The problem arises since I have installed in NGINX server. You probably need to make some changes to the Nginx configuration file?
