Photos not appearing but uploaded successfully

  • All of our photos on our website have been uploaded successfully and for years now have been displayed fine. Now when you go onto one of our project links, the photos to show the project are invisible. However, you can see as you hover over with your mouse over the invisible area, there are links that take you to the expanded image. Showing that the photos are there, they’re just invisible for preview?

    I suspect it’s related to the removal of jquery-migrate by default from WordPress 5.5, so plugins relating to deprecated jQuery APIs can break with WordPress 5.5.

    jQuery Migrate, a tool which WordPress has bundled, and enabled by default, for many years, has now been turned off by default. This is a tool intended to help developers in a transitional period when jQuery (a framework for writing JavaScript code) was upgraded and removed some features.
