I can’t seem to post a screen shot so I’ll have to describe the issue I guess since I’m going to hide it for now with css.

I have button showing up on my post feeds at the bottom of the post summary. The button say “No Button” and links to the page the facebook post is referring to.

I assume it’s the call to action button since I can hide them with this bit of css – cff-cta-link {display:none;}. But I can’t seem to control them from the admin assuming the buttons are controlled in the “Post Action Links”. Although I think I’ve tried everything else in the admin to hide any kind of links/buttons but this area seems to make the most sense.

I wouldn’t mind having the button if it didn’t say “No Button” but how do I fix that?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @dak888,

The plugin grabs the “type” field for the button from the API and then formats that text and displays it. For some reason, the Facebook API is providing a button text of “NO_BUTTON” for your posts (screenshot), which obviously doesn’t make much sense given that there is a button available.

This is likely a bug in their API and I’ll report it as such, but we’ll also release an update shortly here to fix this for you.

    Apologies for any inconvenience!

Unfortunately, no “update now” link appears so I’m unable to update. Version 3.14.2

    Hey DaK888,

I am happy to help you with this problem. The most likely reason this is occurring is due to ownership of the plugin residing in a different Smash Balloon user account as described here and referenced as being “orphaned” from the other purchases relating to the same license.

For me to better resolve this issue for you I will need the license activation key you are using for your plugin installation. Please do not respond with that information in this open forum as it would otherwise jeopardize your assigned license. Rather contact me using this Custom Facebook Feed support form link here which provides secure, private, and direct Support. Provide a link to this post and mention your name DaK888 – CTA Button in your support request so I have proper reference to this stated issue. Thank you.

    Hey DaK888,

I am just checking back with you as I have not seen a support request come through for the issue you requested help with but it is quite possible it came through under a different email/name than used here.

If you are still seeking help then let me know and also let me know which email the support request was submitted under through the provided support link above as I am happy to assist if still needed.
