Shop as first page, but still keep “Homepage” attributes for “Home”

  • Hi. I’d like to have the shop be the first page people see when navigating to my site, but I’d also like to keep the “Home” page as it is now, with the 4 panels and a link to it on the menu. It seems that I can only have those options for the page that is set to “Homepage”, so when I set “Shop” to homepage, the actual “Home” page loses the 4 panels. I tried putting a redirection in to the shop page, but of course, when I click on the “Home” link, it still goes straight to the shop as per the redirection. Does anybody know a way around this? Thank you

    Only the homepage set at Settings > Reading in your site’s Dashboard can use that template in this case.
