On browser back button to /page/2/ only page 2 posts show

    When I do the following (on the demo site and my site):
    – click ‘Load More’
    – select any post, either one that loaded initially or after the button was pressed
    – click the browser back button
    I only see the posts on that were most recently loaded as I directly load /page/2/. I cannot scroll back up to view other posts.

    Most one page plug-ins/themes seem to solve this issue by pushing you back to page 1 whenever you load any page.
    Another (better) solution would be like that shown here: https://connekthq.com/blog/ provided by the SEO addon to the Ajax load more plugin.

    Hopefully there are plans for this to be resolved. Thanks for the great theme,

    Hi @wigax,

    This seems to be a browser specific issue. When I follow the steps in Safari or Firefox (load more, click post, go back), it still shows the posts from all of the pages (and not just the last one). In Chrome, it only shows the posts of the last page loaded.

    I would like to make some updates to the load more behavior in Koji at some point (including updating the browser history when scrolling back up the page, like the Connekt site you link to), but I’m not sure when I’ll get around to it.

    I have tested this on multiple browsers and agree it does seem to be a browser specific issue. I can’t tell if this is down to browser settings or just version though as it works for me on Firefox 78 but not 79.
    I think it shows past posts if the browser decides to retrieve the page from its back/forward cache and doesn’t if the browser decides to reload the page. I’m not sure why my browser doesn’t use the bfcache.
    For now I have ‘fixed’ it by increasing posts/page (they are lazy-loaded anyway); I assume a hard redirect to page 1 would also work as a fix.
