I created a fresh new database db123456 and tried to fill it with WordPress Duplicator. When executing installer.php I get the following error message:

DATABASE CREATION FAILURE! Unable to remove table from database “db123456.create_synonym_db”. Please remove all tables from this database and try the installation again. If no tables show in the database, then Drop the database and re-create it.

    Why does this problem occur?
My database is completely empty as I can see in my PHPMyAdmin.
How can I solve this problem?

  • Hey @michaelwellnerwp

It looks like based on this link. It’s a store procedure, if you go into the store procedure section in PHPMyAdmin and remove it then the installer should stop showing the message.

If you want to submit a support ticket for this issue we can have a closer look at your setup. Please provide a link to this thread when submitting the ticket.

    Thanks~
