Hi, the image titles in the foobox are no longer displayed. Something may have happened with the last WP update, but the display settings have not been changed. In my images, only 2 positions are filled in, the title field and the caption. In the settings foogallery-caption set to display the title and caption, and in the settings of the gallery set the default values that come from the spirit appropriately.

For example, a picture of sheep on my site has the title “Sheep” and the caption – “A4, pastel pencils”. Only the caption is displayed

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @pastelist

Can you edit the gallery to make sure the caption settings are set correctly.
Save the gallery and see if the captions start showing

    Hi @bradvin

I edited the caption for the image, the changes are displayed, and the title is still missing. I added a new image, all the same. I created a new gallery in foogalley, put it on a different page, but same thing there.
Could it be that the font size of the caption has somehow changed and now the title has moved higher and is no longer visible? (Although I didn’t make any edits).
Are there any settings for this field at all?

Another observation, in the setting of the gallery “Hover Effects” there is an item “Caption Visibility”, I have set to “none” if I select “On hover” when you hover over the image, it displays a title. If choose “Always visible”, then the same title is shown on the thumbnail at the bottom of the picture, but these options did not suit me, I would like to test all the data mentioned below.

I can’t attach images here, so I would show screenshots of all the settings that are needed for this. If you tell me where to send and what screenshots of settings I will do it.

    Hi @pastelist

Since you’re using FooGallery to create your gallery, you can set what the title and description that will appear on the lightbox will be from the gallery settings of that particular gallery.

To do so, once you’re on the edit page of the gallery containing those images, scroll down to the “Gallery Settings” section of that gallery and click on the “Captions” tab. You’ll see a page section similar to this screenshot saved here (https://d.pr/i/4J2BM0)

From this page, you can decide what will be your Title or Description.? Select which caption you want to appear as the title and which one as the description as shown on the linked image.

As you’ll see on the image, in my case, I selected the Attachment Caption as the “Title” and the Attachment Description as the “Description”. Don’t forget to hit on the “Update” button when done.

Lastly, you can use the DropLr web app(https://d.pr/) to share the screenshots with us, just as I’ve shared my screenshots with you.

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Elvis.

    Hi, @influxfooplugins

Thank you, but now the titles are already displayed again, there may have been some update and the titles themselves are back in place
