Create Revision Button on Post

  • Hi,

    I would like to add the create revision draft feature on each post instead of just on the posts in the dashboard

    I can’t figure out how to put the create revision draft code on the single.php (post template).

    Do you mean, you are a developer and want to add publicly accesiblebutton in your theme template?

    Would shortcode satisfy your needs?

    Yes exactly, shortcode is fine. I use shortcoder plugin as one of my plugins.

    I want to essentially just have the “Create Revision Draft” ,etc. code that shows up on the Dashboard posts show up on the actual posts.

    Any code works. I just was not able to find the correct functions etc. to put into a shortcode or the single.php theme file.

    Any news on this? I believe it should be quite easy, I just need the name of the function for the button.
