Trojan?

  • For the past few weeks I’ve been getting a repeated alert from avast! regarding a trojan on my site. I have changed my password and updated my wordpress files multiple times but I continue to receive the warning when trying to access my site. Can someone take a look who knows more about this than I do?

  • Changing your password is not going to help if your site is infected.

    I visited and my anti-virus detected Trojan-Clicker.JS.Iframe.db. It appears that the site also links to a page on a Russian domain.

    You’ll need to go through your site files and remove any coding calling the trojan. This *may* involve going through your database.

    Then find out how it got there in the first place so that you can take steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
