Just noticed the same problem on 5.4.2. Before the last plugin update slider worked fine. Now it just shows pre-loader and js errors in browser console.
If I remove slider shortcode from the page – everything works fine and other js also start working fine (like lightbox).

I’ve solved my issue. The problem was caused by Autoptimize plugin update. I’ve fixed settings and now everything works fine.

Sorry for the delay. Its was working fine up until i upgraded. Can you give me an idea of where the js error is? Thanks

You can ask the theme developers to fix it.

In fact, the error is not fixed.
I had to downgrade the website on wordpress 5.4 ; because the 5.5 version caused to many errors on my website (loosed of header menu, error on slider and so on…)

We have many errors with the new version of wordpress. The WordPress support told me that the problem can be plugin, theme or php …
So, I am looking a solution with my team at the moment before re-upgrading.

I just updated to WP 5.5.1 and now my sliders are just “spinning” (image never loads). I use the slider on several different pages and it doesn’t work on any of them. The Preview on the admin page doesn’t even work.

Sounds like I’m having the same problem as everyone else.

Sorry- but “JS error in your theme” doesn’t mean anything to me (and I’m sure it wouldn’t help my theme developer either). Has a definitive solution to this problem been found? I’m using the latest update for the slider (v1.2.35). Is a fix in the works?
