Can subdomains use root installation?

  • Hi,

    I’d like to post website updates using WP on updates.myDomain.com. I already have WP installed in the root of myDomain.com and I am wondering if I need to install another WP in my subdomain or if there’s an easier option as I’d like updates.myDomain to show the same layout, menu items etc as on myDomain.com?

    I hope this makes sense?
