Template not show oEmbed link

    hello
    you plugin worked for the first day, then we notice that ALL the oEmbedded link in the articles show the bad white shape instead of the embedded link. (see the url in the reference) [ redundant link removed ]

    I’m using wordpress online (not download version) so, its all up to date.
    what happened?

    Hi,

    Not sure. I could be that the plugin failed to fetch the content when the cache expired.

    Please try enabling error messages by going to Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Settings -> Default -> Common Advanced -> Show Errors and select Show errors. Then reload the page and tell me what it says.

    Also check the error log by going to Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Tools -> Error Log. I’d like to see some recent error log items.

    “Blocked by captcha” in your log means that the access from your site to the Amazon server is blocked by Captcha.

    To workaround it, you might want to enable the proxy option via Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Tools -> HTTP Proxies.

    Also, please try the development version 4.2.2b06 as it has more precise error messages for the embed unit type and some handling for cached errors when the proxy option is enabled.

    Get some proxies and set them in the Proxy List option. If you don’t have any press the Load button to get some then check the Enable option.

    i did it, load proxy list, enabled checkbox, then tried to paste an amazon urls, like this one:

    Get the same blank block with text inside: “Amazon Auto Links: No products found. (1 items filtered out)” (the right option column of the WP editor show the name of Kindle Block)

    i can’t set up the developer version, i have not a dedicated server.
    i have WordPress business hosted by them. so i can’t manage plugin as i want.
    i could just install/active/inactive/uninstall the plugin in the WP store.

    Try reloading the page until you get the result as proxies will be rotated and dead ones will be automatically moved to the Unusable field. When the cache expires, it will be renewed in the background so you’ll hardly see the error.

    i don’t know, rendering a banner with amazon link is not a proxy cause.
    this plugin sems not very usefull if we can’t paste an amazon url without get all these error.
