HELP : controlling the rss feeds from my site to others

    I was just wondering is ther any way I can control my RSS feeds to others? I will be little more descriptive. For ex: I have a lots videos embedded from you tube and vimeo in every posts. Problem here what I am facing is that other websites subscribe my web site and the entire post details goes to their web site ( The video it self plays from there) So no one will visit my web page.

    Instead of the entire post is getting fetched can I allow the sites to access only the post name as an hyperlink?

    Help me please if you have any solution for this.

  • Under Settings —> reading you can set the feeds to display either full text or summary, I really think if you set your feeds to summary, it might help you to solve the problem a little, also know that add a brief description to your videos of about around 100 to 150 words minimum and then embed your videos that way people who steal your content will only get the part that describes about the video and not the actual video there by you might get visitors coming to you from the people who steal your contents.

    Also adding descriptions adds more value to your pages in search index.
