    Hi,

    My product images are not being showed, some are, but the vast majority isn’t.

    Printscreen: https://prnt.sc/tvnkbk

    The file is small: ~200kb
    The image file name does not have spaces or special characters
    All five images in the link above were uploaded together and are very similar and still some are displayed and others aren’t.

    When I upload these images manually they work, they don’t work when they are synced by Woocommerce.

    Thanks,

    Valmy.

    @valmy02 this may be something related to a bug that has been patched as of 2.4.5 ( today ).

    Please update the plugin first -> but then do a disconnect and reconnect in order to re-sync your data properly. This should resolve any image issues that you might be seeing on the older products.

    If you’re still seeing issues after this, please let us know so we can troubleshoot further. This just happens to be something that we’ve seen recently so this did the trick and we would like you to make that attempt first.

    Hi @ryanhungate,

    I disconnected and reconnected and it did not sync all products, some were missing so was some orders. Now I’m trying again and I’ll let you know.

    Thanks for the reply,

    Valmy.

    Hi @ryanhungate,

    The sync is finished, but orders were incomplete and now all images are missing:

    @valmy02 ok – I think that I know what the issue is. There’s a few things so bare with me while I explain.

    Your store was probably in a strange state with Mailchimp for “one reason or another”. In order to start from scratch you’ll need to MANUALLY DELETE your store from the connected sites area of Mailchimp. Once you’ve removed this, feel free to do the uninstall -> reinstall of the plugin again one more time.

    The 4 hour issue might have to do with the site traffic not triggering WP Cron enough. The solution would be to just keep your admin screen live on the plugin so the data can continue to sync using the WP CRON feature – and it should most certainly happen faster than that. You should see that complete in no time. Otherwise you could install a web monitoring tool that pings your site every minute to “trigger the cron”. Long story but this could very well have to do with traffic.

    Let us know if this does the trick. We had just literally tested this exact same scenario in the last few days.

    @ryanhungate,

    I manually deleted the store from connected sites, then I deleted the plugin and reinstalled, but the problem with the time to sync continues even with the screen live. Do you know what can I do to resolve this issue? What is this web monitoring tool that you suggested?

    The images are not working too.

    If you need any information on my side, I’m glad to give it to you.

    Thank you,

    Valmy.

    @valmy02 hey yeah I think maybe at this point I might be able to do a little digging in your server to see if something pops up that we’re not taking into consideration. Go ahead and send me an admin account to ryan (at) vextras.com and I’ll take a closer look at this stuff shortly.

    Ok, I sent you the credentials.

    @valmy02 so the syncing stats you’re seeing were directly related to the WP Fastest Cache plugin. Basically anyone using a cache on the REST API should add an entry to exclude /mailchimp-for-woocommerce/ so that it will return LIVE results.

    Caches are meant to store a value in the cache without executing the call again till the timer expires. In the case of needing a live feed, you should be careful on what you cache and for how long that the values STAY in memory.

    As for the images, I would highly recommend reaching out to the Mailchimp support team directly because from what I saw, your images SHOULD be there and it could actually be related to caching within the Mailchimp app itself. Please try a log out and log back in to see if that does the trick!

    @ryanhungate,

    Thank you very much! I’ll contact Mailchimp support to see if I can resolve this image issue.

    I’ll study more the cache plugin, it’s quite tricky sometimes.
    I appreciate your help, and I’ll let you know if I resolve the image problem.

    Thank you again,

    Valmy.
