Hi, I’m making a shop using woocommerce. I have some tags and attributes. I have enabled archive for both tags and attributes.
    *
when I click on a tag, a new page opens with all products having that tag. when I click on attributes, instead of showing products with that attribute, a list of my blog posts opens!
    *
How can I show a list of all products containing a certain attribute when I click on the attribute on single product page?
    *
I’m using oceanwp theme and have tried 2020 theme with no luck. I’ve followed documentation at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/ and it didn’t help

    thank you very much

    Thank you very much

Hey @golali in most cases, this will be connected to your permalinks structure at Settings > Permalinks. Can you try using the standard product base?

If that isn’t working, could you try filling something in the attribute base?

When you get back, please share a screenshot of your permalink settings or a site where we can test this.

Hi @jobthomas, thank you for your reply.

In my case instead of “standard” I have “default”. I’m using latest version woocommerce installed. when I choose default and hit save settings, the page refreshes and custom base is still selected, weird! I have tried shop base and shop base with category and every time I hit save the “custom base” is still selected.

so I went ahead and put “/product/sample-product/” in custom base field as a work around and still it didn’t work.

I then put “features” in my attributes field and it didn’t work.

My website isn’t accessible through web as I’m still using hosts to map ip to domain. the ip is 158.58.187.212 and domain is pandco.com

    Thank you again

@golali since I can’t reproduce what you’re describing, this means that it’s likely a conflict with your theme or one of your plugins that is causing the problem.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

@jobthomas thank you for your thorough response.
I switched to storefront and disabled all plugins but still had the issue.
Is there anything else I can try. I have this issue with 2 other websites of mine.
    Thanks

Hey @golali – the big challenge is that I can’t reproduce it on my own websites. Here (with just WooCommerce and Storefront), it works entirely as expected.

I’ve got a link to my staging website here where you can see the “red” attribute.

Under WooCommerce > Status, can you check if you are using the same version of the database as your WooCommerce version is?

If that is not the case, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools. There’s a button to update the database if you scroll down on that page.

@jobthomas thank you again. Your demo site shows perfectly how it’s supposed to work.
They are both same version: 4.3.1

Hi @golali. I recommend that you share the system report using an online tool rather than posting it here if you’re concerned about having it saved in the forums. This way, you delete it after we’ve taken a look.

Hi @golali. We haven’t heard from you in a while so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you still need help with this issue or have any other questions about the WooCommerce plugin, please start a new thread.
