    Hi,

First thanks for the great plugin! I’m been using the plugin for a few days. Only problem is that how to clear the cache of my blog home page?

I’ve enabled “Purge Varnish caching” and “Purge OpCache”. It automatically clear the cache of single pages or posts after published comments or updates.

However, when I publish a new post, it does not appear in the blog homepage until I click on CLEAR CACHE button.

    Hi @jimingkui,

In general, if you have “Clear full cache when post/page is updated” option enabled under Hummingbird > Caching > Page Cache > Settings.

It should be clearing the cache for every page/post including the homepage, once you make any changes like publishing a new post etc

Could you please confirm whether the above setting is already enabled? Other than that there shouldn’t be any specific setting in the plugin side which should be preventing any changes to appear on the homepage.

If the above-mentioned option is already enabled, could you also check whether excluding the homepage temporarily makes any difference? This would give a better idea if there are other cache setting being worked other than Hummingbird.

You should find the option to exclude frontpage under Hummingbird > Caching > Page Caching > Page Types

Please do let us know how that goes so that we could have a better idea. Have a nice day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

It’s been a while since we’ve heard back from you so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. You can still post back any updates and we can continue. ??

    Take care,
