Hi there. Thanks for this awesome plugin. I’m using this on my membership site to provide offline content to my users (without the need for them to download = no sharing). However, I want the offline cache to expire automatically after some period (example – 1 year) so that the users would renew their membership to continue accessing the content. I found the solution at https://phyks.me/2019/01/manage-expiration-of-cached-assets-with-service-worker-caching.html. But I don’t know how to integrate that code with superpwa. Can you help with this, please? Fyi, I’m not a programmer, but I can copy-paste codes ??

  • Hi @santhoshkmr

Good day to you and thanks for trying out SuperPWA. The storage period of PWA is fully handled by the browsers. For example, if the user tries more PWA websites over his browser after trying out your website and if the size of the caching of those websites is higher and exceed the total limit which allocates by the browser for caching the older cached files will be deleted automatically.

The link you have shared only works in the case for caching of pages/files for some days. For the long run, the condition which I have mentioned above will be considered by the browsers as per my knowledge.
