smaller post box

while working on my blog i held down one key (don’t remember which one it was) for a few seconds too long. this made the post box wider and the font size smaller in wordpress. the post box became so wide that it automatically pushed the Publish and Attributes Sections from the right side of the post box to below the post box. it does NOT change anything when i go to Screen Options and change the number of columns.
when i view the blog (front end) all appears smaller too, font size and all.
how can i reverse this?
when i view the blog at another computer all is the normal size before the incident happened. yet for better viewing i would like to reverse all so that the font size becomes larger again.
BTW, it’s also not a resolution issue. i already checked on it.
