• Hello,

I just copied my live WordPress site https://www.marco-inc.com to my computer for work and found that all hrefs are blank, even the WP log in. So, I am now going to search for that in the DB so that I can at least set that so that I can log in and fix the rest of the links to my pages.

First, in the event that I do not find it, where in the DB is the wp-login.php specified (site-admin-link)? I assume that that would be the href URL to log in to WP for work.

Can someone explain what might have happened to my local install so that i can avoid it in the future?

    Thanks, Jeff

One more thing, both siteurl and home in wp_options are correct for the localhost install so I can’t understand why none of the links work, all blank in the page source, and I can’t find even the login link row in any DB table. I wish that WP had been designed to make some of this stuff very easy to find for this type of problem.

One more, one more thing. The plugin Duplicator fails at install on my computer, claiming that it can’t fin the archive that is int he same directory that installer.php is in! This couldn’t be more frustrating!

Does anyone who understands WordPress come here?

OK. I tried a third time and have been more successful. The local site loads and all but one page load properly and the Dashboard is available. Not sure what happened behind the scenes, but things worked out better.
